Avocado Toast with a Basted Egg

Makes 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 1 egg 
  • 1 piece of whole wheat bread 
  • ½ avocado 

Preparation

  1. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. 
  2. Crack an egg in the middle and pour in 1 Tbsp. of water. 
  3. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes. 
  4. While your egg is cooking, place the bread into the toaster and toast.  
  5. When it’s finished, spread ½ an avocado on the toast. 
  6. Top with the cooked egg. 
  7. Serve and enjoy!
