Caramelized Onion Yogurt Sauce 

Makes servings (3 Tbsp. per serving)

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil 
  • ½ medium onion, sliced 
  • ½ cup 2% Greek yogurt 
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion 
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • ¼ tsp. salt 
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Heat oil on a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook on low until caramelized, stirring often. Remove from heat. 
  2. In a blender, combine caramelized onions, Greek yogurt, green onion, lemon juice, garlic, pepper and salt. Blend until smooth. 
  3. Serve over fish, chicken, or pork. This dip can also be used cold as a veggie dip.
