Sweet and Salty Roasted Nuts

Makes 12 servings (1/3 cup per serving)


  • 2 cups raw nuts (almonds/walnuts/mixed nuts)
  • ½ cup raw seeds (pumpkin/sunflower)
  • 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼-½ tsp. cayenne pepper


  1. Lightly grease slow cooker liner with cooking spray, or line insert with parchment paper.
  2. Place all ingredients inside, stirring to evenly coat nuts and seeds.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes. Stir and reduce heat to low.
  4. Cook uncovered for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes until nuts are coated with glaze.
  5. Store in an airtight container.
